Grow here.    At AECOM we are currently recruiting for a Project MEP Quantity Surveyor to join us at either our Dublin,Cork or Galway offices.
Here's what you'll do:  Your day to day twill include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities; ·      Lead MEP Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
·      Provide support to other Surveyors on team in the delivery of services of team projects.
·      Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduate Surveyors.
·     Experience in pre-contract cost management while being experienced in budget control, cost planning, preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders ·      Ensures projects and tasks are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the  client's satisfaction.
·      Develop strong reciprocal relationships with consultants and members of the project team.
·      Be an interface with AECOM clients and design team members on specific projects.
·      Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs on allocated projects, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
·      Provide full Cost Management duties to AECOM clients on allocated projects.
·      Participate in non-project related team activities and tasks; QA, office management, business development, H&S Qualifications Ready to push the limits of what's possible?  Here's what we're looking for:  As the successful candidate you will have experience working within our primary healthcare and education markets along with having the following qualfications and experience.
 ·  Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
·      Professionally Qualified – On the Statutory Register of Quantity Surveyors in Ireland and preferably Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS or SCSI.
·      Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilize digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
·      2-4 years experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of cost management services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Bill of Quantities preparation, Procurement; Contract Administration, Remeasures, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
