We have an opportunity for a Project Planner to join our team in Ireland working on a large multi-fuel gas substation project in Dublin.
As a Project Planner, you will work with our Project Managers, on-site team, and subcontractors in developing a baseline programme. The Programme shall set out the specific design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and testing activities to be performed by AVK and their subcontractors.
Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Building a level 4 detailed schedule for delivery of the projectCost and labour loading schedule as requiredParticipating in project meetings including planning and progress meetings with clients and consultantsProducing reports from site-based information from engineersInterfacing with Project Managers to ensure accurate updating of the project scheduleCoordinating and integrating AVK schedule with the master project scheduleReviewing and integrating subcontractor schedules into the AVK scheduleEnsuring all commissioning documentation is in place, approved, and signed offProviding weekly and monthly progress reports on the scheduleProviding weekly lookaheadsAttending weekly pull plan meetings with the main contractorProviding critical path impacts and analysis for claims/applicationsTo be considered for the role, you will need:
To be living in Ireland with relevant right to work documentsExperience working on large-scale fast-track construction projectsGood administration skills with strong communication skills at all levelsExperience using P6 Primavera & MSP or similar scheduling softwareBasic understanding of the emergency power industryIn return, we offer exciting prospects and a generous benefits package including private health care, up to 25 days annual leave + public holidays, a company pension scheme, and a discretionary bonus scheme.
