A growing Medium sized main Contractor is currently recruiting for an Experienced Quantity Surveyor to work initially on a Healthcare project in North Dublin which is due to run for a further 18 months.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work on projects through to final account.
Duties: Preparation of internal costs/value reports on a monthly basis.Preparation and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and material procurement schedules.Responsibility for agreeing monthly valuations with the client.Budget control, materials management, and valuations.Preparation of cost reports and projections.Ability to negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers with a view to agree final accounts.Preparing monthly cost analysis reports for monthly management meetings.The Person: Degree educated in QS or related subject.8+ years' experience.Previous experience working for a main contractor or developer.Strong communicator with good commercial acumen.In return, a market-leading salary and benefits package is on offer.
