Project Support Officer Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Project Support Officer to join their team.
The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter.
This role will be remote working but the successful candidate must be available to attend client sites when required.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €27.21 per hour based on an annualised salary of €49,702.
You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Access to appropriate transport is required to fulfil the requirements as post may involve travel from time to time.
Responsibilities may include, but are not restricted to: Provide operational administrative support for Portfolio Management works on a day-to-day basis.
Coordinate administrative activities to secure efficiency and compliance to procedures and processes.
Create and update records and databases- to include, but not restricted to; work stream management, Human Resource record updates, Leave reports etc.
Assist in developing 'best practice' standards across the function.
Support the administration and delivery of KPIs as a routine and core business objective.
Implement and comply with applicable national ICT policies.
Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned Assist colleagues as requested e.g Co-ordination of Meetings, Recording of Minutes/Actions, co-ordination and management of project events Organise Monthly and Quarterly workshop team meetings.
Collate and publish training and learning content Provide a single point of contact for the administrative support function within Strategic Application services.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an office, ICT or project management environment, specifically in the management and deployment of technical and organisational works.
Experience of having an excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite including MS Project, MS Teams, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Power BI, MS Outlook, etc.
Good attention to detail on all aspects of workload especially report writing.
Evidence of production of quality deliverables including e.g.
Meeting Agendas, Minutes, Status Reports, bi weekly status reports.
Competencies: Professional Knowledge & Experience: Excellent working knowledge of MS Office skills to include MS Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience of using them to effectively manage workloads Knowledge of MS Project and Sharepoint Knowledge of the health service and how it works Knowledge/experience in an administrative support and / or management support role Knowledge/experience of working with a variety of stakeholder groups Communications & Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
