Property Loss Adjuster Excellent new opportunity to join our Claims team in Dublin.
We are looking to hire an experienced Loss Adjuster to handle property claims in order to achieve settlement outcomes in line with business strategy and goals, regulatory and corporate policies and customer propositions.
You will spend the majority of your time assessing household or commercial scene of loss/events, gathering relevant information, documenting findings and advising customers.
You will be field based, working in various locations throughout Ireland and dealing with customers on a one to one basis.
Reporting to the Technical Property Claims Lead, you will have strong analytical, communication and organisation skills, and enjoy using your strong investigative, negotiation and decision-making abilities to deliver an effective service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities: As a Loss Adjuster, you will oversee claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring a customer-focused experience throughout the process.
With knowledge in property insurance, you will engage effectively with customers and third parties, providing clear communication and promptly addressing enquiries.
Utilizing your negotiation skills, you will aim for optimal outcomes in claims settlements, while providing excellent customer service and fostering relationships with clients.
Preparing and delivering case decisions and solutions to the customer, in line with agreed processes at designated level authority, to meet business objectives and the customer proposition.
Managing customer interactions in an efficient, courteous and timely manner, escalating to more senior and/or qualified colleagues as necessary, in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
In addition to effectively managing your portfolio of claims, you will participate in surge event management to provide vital support during these critical times.
Requirements: CIP qualified 3+ years Loss Adjusting experience Dip LA, or progress towards ACILA/ACII is desirable but not essential Experience of dealing with brokers and a wide variety of customers Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal & written communication skills Excellent attention to detail This role is Field Based, so a Full Driving Licence is required Regulatory Requirements: If this role is defined as a "controlled function" by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011.
