Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in bid or project management/program management in a matrixed environment involving cross-functional stakeholders across EMEA.5 years of experience in proposal writing, copywriting, or other creative writing (marketing, internal communications, etc.).Experience developing, managing, and winning proposals within the Public Sector.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Project Management or APMP qualification.Experience with national and regional government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and frameworks in Europe (Germany).Experience with RFPIO or other standard proposal automation platform tool.Experience with technical writing.Ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to help drive informed decisions.Ability to communicate in German or Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.About the JobAs a Public Sector Proposal Manager, you will support Google Cloud Sales teams in creating (RFx) responses that demonstrate the business value to customers. You will work across numerous teams and time zones, leading and managing multiple RFx responses simultaneously, driving proposal development while ensuring security and integrity of all documentation, coordinating internal flow, review of all proposal inputs, coordinating schedules, and conducting final master proposal production. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will help shape the future of public sector entities across EMEA in deploying and using technology to connect across agencies and with employees and citizens.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the RFx proposal response plan while coordinating with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, commercial, legal, compliance), effective proposal strategies and management plans to produce high quality proposals.Evaluate customer RFx requirements and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and partners to generate a winning and compliant response.Write persuasive proposals conveying Google's technology differentiators while ensuring compliance, contribution, and maintaining reusable knowledge databases.Lead all proposal activities including ensuring bid strategy development and implementation, establishing and enforcing schedules, organizing reviews and incorporating feedback, and on-time submission.Drive structured and organized proposal meetings including kickoff and regular cadence throughout the development cycle to maintain focus and effort, keeping the team on task and on schedule for complete and compliant submissions.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
