Store Manager - Farm Machinery About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to manage our flagship farm machinery store in Co. Tipperary.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the agricultural industry, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in store management.
Key Responsibilities: Drive sales growth and profitability by overseeing an experienced team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, both existing and potential.
Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on the selection and use of farm machinery.
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
Oversee the purchasing process and negotiate favorable deals with suppliers.
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, service, and parts departments.
Maintain a clean, organised, and customer-friendly store environment.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit regular reports to management.
Develop and implement cost-saving measures.
Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in sales and management within the agricultural industry.
Strong knowledge of farm machinery and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and motivational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Valid driver's license.
