My client is a growing communications company that delivers PR and social communications for its clients.
They are passionate and ideation and their clients communications solutions.
They are now looking to hire and experienced Account Manager for their growing team.
Main Responsibilities Leading the team in implementing the companys PR strategy.
Creating engaging content for pitches, plans, media releases, content creator briefs and social media platforms.
Updating and maintaining the companys social media pages with a willingness to come up with new ideas and follow through on those ideas in conjunction with junior team members.
Building relationships with clients and potential clients, suppliers, and the media.
Giving input on marketing initiatives and suggesting creative ways to add to client campaigns.
Conducting research on various topics Monitoring of media coverage on events and media releases that were issued and creating press clippings Updating media lists Training and supporting junior team members.
Requirements: At least four years of industry experience (2 consecutive in a PR agency) Completion of BA or BSc degree in public relations, communication, or journalism.
Excellent understanding of all social media platforms including TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Efficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with customers.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Willingness to attend events after hours and on weekends.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
A can do attitude along with a sense of humour.
