Job Title: Purchasing Administrator Salary: €29K with bonus Location: Clonee, Co. Meath Job Overview: Our client, a well established construction supplies organisation, is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in selecting and purchasing quality products for the business, working closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure stock levels meet current demand.
Key Responsibilities: Define ROP (Reorder Point) replenishment levels based on current demand Place purchase orders with suppliers, considering MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) to replenish and maintain stock levels Maintain costs and update product pricing on the master file Keep supplier expected due dates by line item purchase order to ensure the Sales Team has clear visibility of stock arrival dates Liaise with other departments to resolve queries Work towards team KPIs to control processes and manage key materials Requirements: Minimum of2/3 years experiencein a purchasing role in Ireland Strong understanding ofsupply chain procedures Supply Chain management Certification/Diploma would be advantageous Excellentorganisational skillsand ananalytical mindset Strongcommunication,customer service, andinterpersonal skills Proficiency inMicrosoft Office(Excel, Word, Outlook) andERP systems(Oracle Netsuite) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of construction productsis an advantage For further information, please contact: Fiona Ralph at GHL Recruitment Skills: Purchasing experience supply chain management certificate excellent communication skills Benefits: bonus holidays career progression
