We are looking for an Automation and DevOps oriented software engineer to help deliver the future of AI on DSPs.
Our team manages the cross-site infrastructure and tools that enable Qualcomm's ML teams to deliver products to customers.
We manage a server farm of embedded phone-like devices and the infrastructure (CI/CD, tooling, automation) which enables software developers to run workloads at large scales (400,000+ tasks per day).
Our team focuses on maintaining the physical server farm and developing and enhancing the automation around it.
Responsibilities: Lead a team of 5 engineers working in a global team to deliver world class developments tools for ML teams.Deliver python tools for hundreds of developers using industry standard release and development practices.Plan and coordinate the development and delivery of robust, maintainable, and scalable software.What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant discipline.
A master's degree is preferable.5+ years of practical experience in software engineering and/or DevOps.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team spanning several time zones.Experience with industry standard CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI).Excellent Python programming and automated testing skills.Advanced-level skills in Linux system administration, Docker, Git, Jenkins, NFS.Experience with databases and data visualization tools.Where you will be working Cork has a proud reputation as Ireland's second largest economic engine and is now one of the Top 20 location choices in Europe with 39,000 people being employed by over 170 overseas companies.
