Senior Test Automation Engineer – Basel, Switzerland Join a leading sustainable private bank known for delivering dynamic and personalized investment advisory and asset management services private clients. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our core banking system (Avaloq) and other in-house developed applications. This position requires a proactive and independent approach to developing and maintaining automated test cases. The role requires on-site presence 5 days a week.This role is ideal for a motivated Test Automation Engineer looking to take on new challenges in a vibrant and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated test scripts based on provided specifications. Continuously expand the scope of test automation coverage. Ensure the seamless execution of automated test cases with minimal failures. Execute test cases and perform in-depth analysis and validation of results. Enhance and optimize the existing automation framework. Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines. Your Profile A higher education degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience. At least 5 years of practical experience in Test Automation. Strong foundational understanding of programming languages. Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL is required. Familiarity with system architectures, APIs, and Avaloq is advantageous. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and microservices architecture is beneficial and will offer opportunities for growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the business. Fluency in English is required; fluency in Portuguese and/or German is a plus.
