The IBM API Connect is an API management solution that addresses critical aspects of the API lifecycle for both on-premises and cloud environments providing the capability to create, run, manage and secure APIs and microservices.
Our team is part of the development group that develops, deploys, and operates the cloud, dedicated and local form factors of the product. In addition we are involved in all the customer support and efforts to ensure that our customers are satisfied and successful.
The QA engineer will be the responsible to ensure the quality of both new features being added to the product and existing functionality. This will be done via manual verification and the creation and maintenance of automation to validate the features. The QA engineer will need to work closely with the dev teams to understand the new features and to provide input into testing performed by these teams.

As a QA Engineer, the following are the responsibilities:Validate new features being delivered in the product.
Work on creating automation for the features being tested, and implement in a CI/CD pipeline.
Debug customer issues, reproducing in a lab if required.
Work with core development to improve the product.
Provide serviceability improvements on the product.
