Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.What You Will DoReporting to the QA Manager, you will oversee, support and drive the quality efforts of various teams that are responsible for the development, integration and release of new and exciting content for existing features within our flagship title, Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC).
With a team of QA Testers, both internal and external, you will help shape the future on how we continue to iterate to success and evolve the way we work.
Team Leadership and Development: Line manage the internal QA test team, supporting their growth through individual development plans, KPOs, and one-on-one meetings.Test Strategy and Governance: Define and implement the test strategy for the Content team, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to QA lifecycle steps for content development.Bug Database Management: Maintain and manage the content bug database, prioritizing high-ROI issues and ensuring all relevant bugs are tracked and pursued to resolution.Content Testing and Quality Assurance: Drive the creation and maintenance of test suites and test cases for both new and existing content, and contribute hands-on as needed.Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with external test teams, other QA Cluster Leads, and production teams to ensure efficient resource management and to address potential impacts on other areas of work.Quality Oversight and Reporting: Provide a holistic view of content quality through tracking and reporting, while promoting early issue detection and proactive quality improvements across the development pipeline.What We're Looking For Exceptional leadership and managerial skills with proven experience Strong verbal / written communication and an excellent attention to detail Strong time management, accountability and organisational skills An ability to negotiate and ensure you and your team's message is heard, all the while with a sound business understanding to ensure correct balance and needs are met Proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated Flexible to an agile setup with the ability to multitask, managing coverage for multiple high profile releases with strict deadlines A strong commercial awareness with an understanding of business priorities and goals Exceptional reporting capabilities Extensive knowledge of JIRA and / or similar bug tracking systems
