Job DescriptionOur client is one of the world's largest Pharmaceutical companies and has Biotech, Pharma and Medical Device manufacturing plants in Waterford.The QA specialist will be reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Team Leader and have full industry training and support.The QA Specialist responsibilities include;Implement and support a batch release system in the QA function of Sterile ManufacturingParticipate in the preparation and review of procedures and batch documentationReview and approval of deviation, CAPA's, quality events and tasksActively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Opportunities for both day & shift roles.Shift is 24/5; 7am - 7pm with shift allowanceRequirementsBachelor's degree in a science related subject is essentialIdeally 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, sterile experience is preferable but open to candidates coming from other industries including food, drink or healthcare industries.Operational experience of quality systems in a dynamic environmentPackageSalary Negotiable depending on experienceFlexible working hours & finish early on a FridayPerformance related Bonus25 days Holidays and you can work up an additional 40 hours and take these off at a time agreed by you and your manager.Company PensionLong term disability and life assurance: Life Cover for self and spouse/children.Gym: Access to onsite Gym and class
