Qa Test Analyst

QA Test Analyst Initially 6 months daily rate contract  Dublin city center (Hybrid role/Remote) Starting Jan 2024 My Client is looking to recruit an experienced Service Orientated Test Analyst to fill a Contractor position in the QA Test Team. The position will involve working in a hybrid model, both remote and in the office.

Responsibilities:
Produce structured test plans based on functional requirements Develop comprehensive test cases for System, UAT, Regression and Service Oriented testing (both automated and manual) Develop ReadyAPI automated repeatable test scripts for Services Execute and record the results of test cases Tracking of progress of test phase and reporting to Team Lead with regular updates. Raise & track defects, highlight potential risks Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times Develop process improvement initiatives Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years QA and software testing experience Experience in testing within the Financial Services industry (preferably in Life and Pensions) Experience of Service Oriented Testing and tools such Ready API/Soap UI Pro Experience in testing Batch and Online Transaction Processing systems Experience in interrogating SQL server databases and an ability to develop SQL queries is essential Experience with bug and issue management tools applicable to this role including JIRA Experience with test case management tools including Test Rail
