Job Title: Qualified Accountant Location: Dublin City Centre Type: Full-Time About the Role: A well-established Chartered Accountancy firm, with over 80 years of service to both Irish and multinational clients, is seeking a Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in a small or medium-sized Irish accounting practice.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of clients across various industries, providing audit, tax, and business advisory services.
Candidate Profile: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with training in a practice environment and a minimum of 3 years' experience in an Irish accounting firm, handling a range of general practice services Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients Skilled in leading audit assignments, including team management, file reviews, and reporting for companies and groups Strong technical knowledge and awareness of current developments in the accounting profession; knowledge of Irish and UK Company Law and Tax Law is an advantage Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Experience in managing and training junior staff Proficient in IT and accounting software, with a preference for experience in Relate Suite, Xero, Sage50, and MS Office Willingness to travel within Ireland, the UK, or internationally, with short or medium-term stays as required Ability to drive and access to a car is an advantage Key Responsibilities: Acting as the primary liaison for clients, offering timely advice and exceptional service Providing a range of services, including audit, tax, accountancy, and business advisory Preparing and reviewing financial statements Managing and ensuring the successful completion of audit assignments for Partner review Researching and addressing technical queries from clients Assisting in the training and development of junior staff Handling ad-hoc assignments as needed What's on Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for close client interaction and exposure across diverse industries Professional development support, including CPD and study leave Flexible working conditions to support work-life balance This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced accountant looking to expand their expertise in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
