Qualified Accountant wanted for Global Insurance Company - Dublin City Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to join our client, a Global Insurance Entity, based in Dublin City. This role will report directly into the Finance Manager and will look after the financial reporting for a number of global entities that are consolidated into Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have a background within Insurance; however, my client has a successful track record of hiring individuals from outside of Financial Services/Insurance. Attitude and ability to work autonomously while maintaining excellent accuracy are the key factors to a successful candidate.
My client offers an excellent package including 2 days in the office, bonus, healthcare, and pension. Your Role: Conduct monthly reviews, control measures, and analyses of designated International Contracts business, including the preparation of comprehensive analyses and commentaries that elucidate the primary factors influencing the results of each assigned contract.Actively engage in the overall evaluation process of international contract's profitability, manage internal control activities, and assess and implement risk mitigation strategies.Fully participate in the on-boarding process for newly assigned international contracts.Contribute to the preparation of key client profit share and underwriting year analyses.Coordinate with local and consolidated finance team members to include International Contract business in consolidated results, adhering to Group's reporting requirements.Develop and maintain a comprehensive and transparent audit trail for all assigned international contracts.Communicate with various external parties (such as brokers, claims handlers, and fronting insurers).Your Skills: Qualified/Nearly Qualified Accountant.Strong numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in all MS Office programs.Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities.Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Quick learning ability following a training period.Familiarity and experience with SAP reporting systems.Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV or alternatively call Tadhg at 01 9052560.
