Flexibility is built into how we do things, offering increased availability to patients means that we have a working pattern to suit everybody.  Principal Duties & Responsibilities Clinical: Being a role model to your team members by display exceptional abilities  Support the work of the clinician at the chairside Having good knowledge of all areas of dentistry Understand the names of different instruments and materials used in the practice Developing clinical skills and knowledge by taking part in courses Auditing clinical standards throughout the clinic  Demonstrate outstanding organisational skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritise  Ensure that the clinical setting is well organised and maintained for smooth running of the practice Ensure that equipment is safe to use and fix any malfunctions in a timely manner.
Report and consult with senior dental staff as needed.
Contribute to ongoing monitoring, auditing, and evaluation of the equipment.  Support new dentists in completing their trials.
If successful, support in their settling into their new roles.  Having a good understanding of the software "Exact" to be able to complete clinical tasks and be able to train new dentists also.
Assist with ordering of supplies as required, ensuring there is sufficient quantities to allow operation at capacity  Having a passion to positively impact the clinical team to maximise growth and skillset  Administrative:  Managing both clinical and administrative tasks as needed Be an active participant in staff meetings and all aspects of service delivery Maintain a high standard of professional behaviour which is reflected upon fellow nurses and dental team Maintain appropriate nursing records and reports that house important information in regards to equipment and its efficacy  Be aware of, and comply with, the principles of clinical governance including quality, risk and health and safety and be individually responsible for clinical governance, risk management, health and safety issues in their area of work.  Participate in performance evaluation/review with their line manager, identifying areas for improvement and appropriate plans/measures to achieve them.  Hold performance reviews for clinical team, understanding their strengths and weaknesses and giving them constructive feedback Finding suitable candidates for clinical roles, performing interviews, holding trial sessions Onboarding the clinical candidates for their new roles and insuring all relevant documents are saved and stored in the correct locations Training and supporting team members to insure they are at the clinical standard we hold in the practice  Hold individual meetings with team members to listen and analyse concerns they may have Organising team schedules, approving timesheets and holidays accurately and in a timely manner Ability to prioritise workload as required to meet the ever-changing needs of the department Demonstrate effective problem solving and decision-making skills Benefits & further information for the role Flexitime: We follow a Flexible Working model.
