Role Purpose The Compliance Quality Assurance Executive at Boylesports is responsible for assisting the Core Compliance team with providing independent assurance that BoyleSports risk management, governance, compliance processes and policies are operating effectively, as defined by the Head of Compliance and Compliance Specialists.
Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, the role will provide a high level of support in ensuring all departments comply with the necessary regulatory compliance guidance and regulation and follow operational policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities Ensuring regular monitoring of internal practices meets the regulatory requirements within the relevant jurisdictions Continue to develop and maintain knowledge on all areas of regulation within the required jurisdictions Working alongside the Compliance Specialist in the review of internal operational compliance processes, identifying and documenting risks and escalating these to the Compliance Specialist to determine the controls to be put in place Carrying out and reporting on QA for the operational compliance team, working with the management team to ensure proper action is taken as a result of the QA output Assisting the Compliance Specialists and the Head of Compliance in all administrative duties, including production of reports and auditing Providing support to the business in ensuring all departments adhere to the licensing requirements, acting as a point of contact for any queries Support on the introduction and implementation of new or amended compliance obligations as set out in relevant legislation, regulations, and standards Support the Compliance team in implementation of required procedural changes, including communication to the relevant business areas as and when required Ensure that policies and procedures are followed and that best practices are applied across the business Work with professional boundaries, maintaining safety Always uphold BoyleSports values Education/Qualifications requirements Formal Compliance qualification desirable (preferably within the gambling sector) Auditing qualification and/or equivalent experience Responsible Gambling training Specialist Skills and Experience required Strong attention to detail Ability to engage with multiple work streams within the business Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication and written skills Strong administrative and report writing skills Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
