OverviewPepsiCo is on the lookout for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Operations team in Little Island on a temporary contract basis.

ResponsibilitiesPrimary Accountabilities Comply with confidentiality policy.Support Quality Digital Factory ways of working, leveraging leading metrics to optimize and improve process controls to reduce NRFT and CPMO for site.This role is the key Quality contact for the Operations team.Conduct Filling and Assembly line inspection checks to ensure compliance with Manufacturing Control Programme mandates.Conduct Shipping Area checks to ensure compliance with Manufacturing Control Programme mandates.Conduct trace and trending in relation to manufacturing issue analysis to assist in determining the true root cause.Report/log findings to Quality Wall/leading indicators to ensure timely reporting and accurate trending of data.Report findings at W@POA meetings to ensure timely reporting and containment of issues.Support Quality Inspector team lead and Quality Engineers with NRFT and Complaints Issue resolution/Action plans.Complete all Quality inspector tasks as required.Support gap assessing the site against Fix It Forever mandates/Manufacturing Control Plan and support action plans to ensure compliance to the mandates.Prepare monthly metrics on leading metrics and site performance to close out open items on Quality Wall/leading indicators.Be flexible regarding priority changes.A requirement of this role is that all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with operators in all areas.QualificationsEssential Criteria BSc in food science, chemistry or equivalent.A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a Manufacturing Environment.Additional Desired qualifications and/or experience Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated.Demonstrate an understanding of business fundamentals and synergies of cost/quality/service to maximize impact on work effort.Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to positively influence others and lead teams.Good troubleshooting skills.Ability to manage a varied workload.Who we are:We are a Manufacturing Unit in PepsiCo, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up, and Pepsi.We are a global organization offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR, and IT.We are passionate about creating and delivering much-loved household brands to markets across the world.At PepsiCo, opportunity is for everyone.
