Headquartered in the UK, Vitalograph has operations in Ireland, Germany and the USA.    The Role Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Inspector is responsible conducting for product, raw material inspection and release.  Key Responsibilities As required, under minimum supervision, performs QC inspection tasks of an electromechanical nature in areas such as Receiving inspection, In-process, and Final inspection.
Inspection and testing of third party supplied finished product, as required.
Proper use of metrology equipment and inspection aids to determine pass / fail outcome.
Ensuring measurement equipment is used correctly, is fit for use, calibrated and used in line with operating instructions, calling for repairs when necessary.
Ensuring that all required data is reported and documented in-line with related documentation requirements, and the completion of QC inspection related documentation and non-conformances.
Application of correct QC status labels to ensure only product that has passed QC inspection is used in production and shipped to the customer.
Final release of devices from Operations to intended market.
Raising of NCs as required and bringing important quality or regulatory related information to attention of QA.  Filing and archiving of all pertinent QC documentation in their proper locations.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Other duties as requested by their manager / supervisor.  Key Competencies Ability to perform the duties specified effectively and efficiently.
Ability to complete all aspects of a given task timely, and to a high standard.
Ability to communicate effectively with those he/she works with.
Ability to work with others in a spirit of good will and cooperation  Minimum Requirements Third level qualification in a relevant discipline.
1 - 2 years' relevant experience in a QC review role within the healthcare sector.
Skilled in analysing information, reporting results, documentation skills and promoting process improvement
