Quality Manager Co Cavan Interim to Permanent Monday - Friday Day Shift Competitive Salary Vickerstock are excited to be working exclusively with our leading Food Manufacturing client who are consistently improving and introducing new measures to improve their processes and products, due to this they need a highly motivated Quality Manager to join them at their impressive state of the art factory in County Cavan.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key duties Implementation and management of HACCP food safety systems at the processing plantManagement and training of food safety team members.Compliance to BRC standard, ISO 22000, Bord Bia, EIQA Hygiene Mark, RSPO and all relevant standardsNon-conforming product managementCorrective and preventive action managementEnsure compliance with the food regulatory requirementsReporting to Managing director and Processing Manager on the performance and effectiveness of the Quality Management System and any need for improvementManage and organise the Quality Control Department in the plant.Monitoring processing standards such as temperatures, machine performance and product presentation.Proactively manage food safety and the concept of continuous improvement and drive the company towards achieving even higher standards of excellenceCriteria Ideally 3rd Level Qualification in a Food Science or related disciplineStrong Quality Management experience within food manufacturingUnderstanding of key customer requirements, audit standards & processes
