Location: Rathowen, Co. Westmeath, N91 XE10 Reporting to: Technical Manager, ROI Role Description: As a Quality Manager within the Technical team , you are responsible for the development and management of the Quality Assurance Policy in Green Farm Fine Foods thus ensuring the supply of 100% safe food.
Working closely with the Technical Manager and Quality team, the Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and management of the day today running of the quality management system throughout the organisation.
  Area Description: Our Technical team are at the heart of our business.
They are responsible for ensuring we produce high quality and safe products for our Customers and Consumers while complying with all Legislative and Regulatory requirements for Food Processing.
They aim to maintain our Quality Assurance Culture and Health and Safety Culture with all staff of Green Farm Fine Foods which is continually reviewed for effectiveness and improvement, the key objective is to have all staff empowered and taking ownership for Quality and Health and Safety.
They lead all stages of product development and delivery including idea, creative development, consumer testing, customer approval and execution.
  Responsibilities: To Manage and Implement the Food Safety Quality Management System in the plant.
Develop and lead a plant production team that will focus on compliance, issue prevention, performance measurement, root cause problem solving, attention to detail and team working ensuring 100% safe food.
To ensure through the Quality Assurance team that all Audits are successful and that any Corrective Actions are carried effectively.
Lead the resolution of product complaints, non-conformances, and customer queries.
To ensure that Product is produced 100% to specification at all times.
To lead and manage all external factory audits.
To develop Quality team so that there is always cover for each role with all members continuously learning and developing.
   Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements: 1.    Knowledge of BRC standard 2.    Completion of customer audits 3.    Good knowledge of food legislation and standards    Skills and Competencies: 1.    Excellent Communicator 2.    Excellent attention to detail 3.    Ability to organise and plan.
  Desired Qualifications: 1.    3 rd Level Degree in Food Science 2.    Diploma in Management Previous Experience: 1.    More than 3 years' experience in Quality Management role
