How you'll make an impact: Expanding its services to drive further engagement of consumers via smartphones, tablets, PCs, and connected devices, while continuing to maintain and grow its adoption in connected cars. This position is a leader responsible for looking after quality engineering for applications across this ecosystem, while working with Product, Marketing and Business teams to harmonize our efforts toward shared company goals.
Benefits You Can Expect: Competitive salary and annual bonus programHealthcare provided to all employees and their eligible family members, paid by the CompanyLife cover (4X base salary)Short and long-term disabilityPension contributions up to 8% of your annual base salaryBike2Work schemeTax saver ticketsEmployee Assistance Program25 days annual leave (pro-rated)10 days paid sickMaternity and paternity leaveAdoption leaveSummary of the role: Analyse business requirements, design documentation, and technical specifications to develop manual and automation test strategies.Manage documentation (test sets, test cases, etc.) that ensure full implementation of all requirement coverage.Work closely with business owners to estimate resourcing needs, budgetary needs and give time estimates.Work directly with executives to align with department and organization goals and develop new ideas for process improvement.Oversee the consumer electronic area of testing which would include connected devices, partner devices, Smart TVs, etc.Assist managers' team in day to day and provide guidance in all departmental activities including scheduling, project health and mitigating project risk through knowledge of department procedures and company policies.Evaluate and acquire the latest hardware & software for department needs.Support established organizational processes while making incremental improvements as needed.Plan and manage resource estimation, effort distribution, and performance reviews.What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in computer science or its equivalent.At least 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering, and 6+ years of experience in team management.Expert knowledge of technological components utilized by the organization.Proven success in managing overlapping projects, while remaining flexible to shifting priorities.The ability to lead a team of at least 20-25 people.Project management experience, track record of delivering high quality products while meeting scheduling commitments.Passion about leading, inspiring, and motivating others to meet their goals.Excellent project management skills and ability to execute and deliver to a high standard.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across many departments and levels and influence others.Familiarity with: MuleSoft development team to implement proper testing of integration applications under development, including use of MUnit, SonarQube, JMeter, and Jenkins.Log analysis tools such as ELK / Splunk, Java, Groovy, Dataweave.Building tools such as Jenkins.Ticketing tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.Messaging brokers such as JMS / ActiveMQ / AnypointMQ.Postman / SoapUI.
