About the Role As well as focusing on health and innovation, Britvic Ireland is working in partnership with Origin Green, the world's only national food and drink sustainability programme. Britvic Ireland currently have a pipeline of projects and we are looking for a Project Manager to support the delivery of these projects. To work with operations teams to achieve the required quality, safety and environmental standards. To contribute towards achieving required targets, objectives, legislative requirements, franchise and company standards, through effective control, operation and maintenance of plant and processes.
Key Responsibilities: Create effective partnerships with Marketing, Supply Chain and Suppliers to enable flawless project delivery of key business objectives.Supporting technical input on packaging & liquid development projects from concept.Ensure all project work is compliant with the Britvic technical processes and legal requirements related to packaging & liquid development.Provide technical packaging & liquid expertise to support the factories and key supply chain objectives.Ensures implementation, compliance and maintenance of Britvic quality, food safety, health & safety and environmental policies, standards (ISO/OHSAS/FSSC/AIB/Good Practices), certification to standards (where applicable), requirements, procedures and legal compliance within the operations teams.Implements and supports external audit program, schedule, conduct and support annual internal audit program. Maintain corrective action log including development of plans, close out of actions and reporting.Implementation, formalisation and documentation of quality processes within Kylemore site.Proactively identify, review and take ownership for improvement opportunities as required through technological and process developments.Ensure laboratory facilities are maintained in a hygienic condition including maintenance of equipment and sterilisation of lab equipment where required.Coordinate syrup trials and projects involving new formulations/ingredients including laboratory testing support and programming of systems where applicable.Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: In depth knowledge and experience in quality, food safety, microbiology, safety or environmental role, preferably in an FMCG environment with a good knowledge of production processes and packaging.Operations and project management experience.Implementation of QSE processes and standards.Knowledge of ISO/OHSAS/FSSC/Good Practice Standards.Knowledge of all relevant areas of food and water legislation and related microbiological issues.Experience of working within continuous improvement programmes relating to QSE.Qualifications: Third level education in food science, manufacturing, quality or related discipline.Food Safety Certification.We believe we are stronger together and that's why we're committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants and employees.
