Quantity Surveyor - Construction Contractor - Blarney Cork Office/Project Location: Blarney Cork Employment Type: PermanentWork Location: Office & Site BasedPay: €55K - 75K, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.Experience: 3+yearsVisa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa requiredOur client is a leading Irish Contractor with projects throughout the Munster and IrelandAn excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor and gain project experience on buildings projectsCost Management of one or more projectsProject procurement including issuing tender queries, preparation of tender reports and appointments in line with construction program to ensure delivery of project on time and on budgetPreparing monthly project payment applications and cost reportsMonitoring of project costs and agreeing variations with Design TeamReporting monthly to senior management on the financial performance of individual projectsRequirementsDegree level in Quantity Surveying 3 + years quantity surveying experience on Civils ProjectsPrevious projects experience with main contractors on buildings projects desiredChartered or working towards chartershipExcellent interpersonal and communication skills requiredExcellent IT skillsPackageSalary €55- 75K and negotiable dependent on experienceFull-time permanent staff role with great career prospects
