SUMMARY OF ROLE: Reporting to the Commercial Director, the ideal candidate will assist in the commercial delivery of projects, managing project costs and ensuring accurate financial control.

RESPONSIBILITIES: These include but are not limited to: Procurement, appointment and management subcontractors & suppliers through to final account Produce accurate progress accounts Preparation and assessment of interim and final valuations for progress payments Monitor and report on project costs Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns Assist the pre-construction team in the delivery of tenders Stay updated on industry innovations, regulations etc KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: A successful candidate will demonstrate the following: Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role with a main contractor /subcontractor / consultancy essential Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Experience in Buildsoft / Cubit / Bluebeam preferred Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with an ability to build productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders Strong attention to detail and excellent measurement knowledge Ability to work under pressure, prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously while working to tight deadlines, managing time effectively Ability to take initiative and work both individually and as a strong team player COMPANY BENEFITS: Full time/permanent employment Company pension Employee Assistance Programme Professional development & training opportunities Great working conditions with a progressive company This job description is intended to cover the minimum duties and responsibilities required for this role.
