Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key player in managing the financial and contractual aspects of various construction projects, including specialised medical environments.
Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and managing cost estimates and budgets for projects.
Producing detailed bills of quantities and cost plans.
Conducting tendering processes and evaluating bids.
Managing contracts and overseeing project finances.
Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to budget.
Providing financial advice and reporting to project managers and stakeholders.
Conducting cost analysis and managing change orders.
What We're Looking For: A relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally within the medical construction and general construction sector.
Strong knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and contract administration.
Proficiency in industry-specific software such as CostX, Cubit, or similar tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
