Location:Dublin.
Contract:Full-Time, Permanent.
Reporting to: Technical and Quality Group Manager.
Shift Pattern: 4 days on and 4 days off - 12 Noon to Midnight.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
Benefits:Pension Contribution Scheme, Long Term Illness Benefit, DIS.
About the Role:Join the dynamic team of a Leading Irish Food Business as a QA Officer, where youll work closely with the Technical and Production teams to ensure the highest standards of food quality, safety, and compliance.
This is a pivotal role in maintaining and improving their Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS) while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards during production.
Conduct daily checks on GMP, weights, dates, temperatures, CCPs/OPRPs, and hygiene.
Perform audits (hygiene, structural, internal, and glass) and monitor external site standards.
Inspect raw materials, finished products, and bought-in goods for conformity.
Manage non-conforming product procedures and document control processes.
Provide training to operators and support process improvements.
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, NPD, and Sales to drive technical strategies.
What Were Looking For: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Training in food hygiene, HACCP, and internal auditing.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive and assertive approach.
Knowledge of FSSC 22000, BRC, RSPO, and relevant food legislation.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and under pressure.
