Overview PepsiCo is on the look-out for a graduate to join our R&D Digital Engineering team for a 2-year graduate programme. We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands.

This R&D Digital Engineering team focuses on the development of PepsiCo's diverse R&D Applications & Data infrastructure by bringing together innovative ideas and making a direct impact on our ability to drive business action through the provision of connected applications & data insights.
The Role: The Pepsico Ireland R&D Graduate Programme is 2 years in duration, designed for high potential graduate students with the goal of preparing them for a successful future. Our graduate intake in 2025 will have a Data Engineering & Analytics stream.
Responsibilities The Data Engineering stream will involve: Learning the fundamentals of data engineeringData ingestion (sourcing)Data transformation (harmonisation, standardisation, cleansing)Data modellingReport developmentData analytics stream will involve:
Analysing data to uncover helpful insights to help drive business process changes for the better.Interpreting various information to make data-driven and functional business decisions.Assessing our data assets to transform data for use in Artificial intelligence training models.The successful graduate will be assigned a senior mentor to help guide them and aid in their development while on the programme.
Key Accountabilities: Data pipeline developmentPipeline troubleshooting and implementing corrective actionsDeveloping & implementing analytic solutions that deliver self-service analytics solutions leveraging available datasetsCollaborate with team members on data product deliverables across the R&D Data PlatformParticipate in agile process activities, including daily standups and retrospectivesCollaborate with our Enterprise Data Analytics IT partners to translate business needs to actionable technical briefs against which solutions can be identified/developedLead &/or support proof of concept pilots of analytics solutions to assess effectiveness in meeting business needsProvide analytical support for key R&D strategic initiatives and complex, high-profile projects; planning and scoping several inter-related initiatives and helping senior-level business stakeholders make informed decisionsResearch & partner with IT & other R&D colleagues to implement AI capability for use across our data productsCollaborate with our colleagues across the R&D Ireland Campus to identify and drive our digital evolution in data by leveraging our R&D Data Platform for data analyticsQualifications Essential Criteria: 3rd level qualification in Numeric/Mathematical discipline (e.g. Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Information Systems), with a good understanding of data analyticsStrong technical skills including SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BIExposure to one or more of the following: Azure, AWS, GCP data platform technologiesGood collaboration skills, with experience working in a cross-functional environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly articulate ideas and proposals to all levels of the organizationProblem solving capabilitiesComfortable working with teams including remote teamsAn active and passionate learner who is comfortable to learn while doingAdditional Desired Criteria: Good presentation skills and techniques (SharePoint, PowerPoint)Exposure to and an ability to explain Artificial Intelligence fundamentalsFamiliarity with different data structuresWhat happens after I apply?
