The role includes early-stage development and prototyping of catheter concepts, process development, setup of a pilot line and preparation for volume manufacturing.How You'll Contribute Building and prototyping new catheter conceptsSupporting the development of the device design and the manufacturing processPerforming product inspection and measurementPerforming incoming inspection of device components and materialsConducting mechanical testing to establish device and component performanceStocktaking and purchasing of equipment, components and other consumables required to support the production lineTraining of new operators as requiredSupport the transfer of the product to a contact manufacturer as requiredSupport efforts to verify and validate new product designsBuilding of product for verification and validation testingCommit to ongoing personal development to improve technical and non-technical skillsetsBecome an expert on the manufacturing process and be responsible to communicating all details of the manufacturing process to the broader teamMust Have Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelA minimum of 5 years' experience in medical device / catheter manufacturing or a related industry.
