Key job responsibilitiesRoutinely review ticket queue for large events and address accordinglyCoordinate change management resourcesGuide, train and educate data staff on the best practices related to all service owner issuesManage and deliver mid-size projectsRecommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAsManage a diverse team of Decom technicians with varying skillsProvide weekly report to the Cluster ManagerMaintain the on-call schedule coordinating absence and vacationsRecruit and train Decom technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levelsWrite and deliver performance reviews for staffBASIC QUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or a related field.Experience managing IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure & systems administration experience in a data center environment.Proficiency with MS Office Suite & strong oral and written communication skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience managing IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure with project management best practices such as PMI, Waterfall, and Agile.Ability to successfully manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and varying levels of management and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint.PMP Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, Safety training or certification.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
