Radiation Therapist

RecruitNet is looking for a Radiation Therapist / Junior Radiation Therapist for our private hospitals in Ireland.  We are currently recruiting a Radiation Therapist  to work as an integral part of the radiology team at the hospital.                                                                          Responsibilities Take steps to ensure the patient is informed about the course of treatment and any associated adverse effects.
Show that you can evaluate a patient's comprehension of and adherence to medical instructions and education.
Assist assigned patients directly and do out procedures and practices in the specialist service area.
Apply radiation therapy according to the treatment plan and approved prescription.
In all allocated patient records, document the patient's care, and protect the privacy and confidentiality of patient information and records.
Collects and keeps track of the data that was obtained during the simulation process.
Enters treatment-related data into the patient management system with accuracy.
When necessary, perform daily and weekly handovers with the MDT and is in charge of the patients receiving radiation treatment.
Requirements Completing a formal program in radiation treatment technology at an institution recognized by the EU, AMA, or Ireland.
CORU Registration mandatory.
