Job Description RecruitNet International Ltd specializes in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas, we guide you through professional registration, job placement, visa and employment permit processing.
  We are hiring a Radiographer in a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Permanent Full-Time 35 hours We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are central to all we do.
Key Responsibilities Undertake all Radiographic Imaging Examinations as required in the Diagnostic Imaging Department; in particular in General Radiography, DEXA, Theatre and Interventional/Fluoroscopy Radiology, and preferably also with General Ultrasound skills, with opportunities in Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, CT, MRI and PACS/RIS.
Carry out high standard, best practise, clinical imaging when required and be professionally responsible for all aspects of own work, maintaining highest standards of patient care.
Maintain an effective and efficient high quality radiographic service for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Demonstrate flexibility in accordance with the various shift patterns and the service needs of the Department, and partake in the Departments' radiographic rota.
Participate in an on-call rota basis as and when required.
Perform Intravenous cannulation as and when required.
Liaise with other departments, GPs, Consultants, Secretaries and colleagues to ensure effective patient management.
Demonstrate and explain technologies and procedures to visitors and students when requested.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with Hospital and Departmental policy.
Requirements It is crucial to have a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Radiography, a College of Radiographers Diploma, or an equivalent CORU registration and upkeep.
Desired Credentials Postgraduate training A minimum of one year of postgraduate experience is preferred.
It is preferable to have diagnostic medical ultrasound imaging expertise in areas such as general, upper abdominal, pelvic, TV, small parts, and vascular ultrasound (venous in the legs and carotid).
A postgraduate degree in ultrasound is preferred.
