About this opportunity:
Serve as a vital link between the engineering departments and the rApp developer community. This role focuses on supporting rApp developers by addressing their needs, managing community interactions, and providing timely assistance. Developer Advocates will handle 60% of the queries and issues reported by developers, triage unresolved issues, and escalate them to the appropriate engineering units according to agreed SLAs. This role is a natural career progression from a Software Engineer position, allowing individuals to acquire seniority and expertise through direct interaction with the end-users of the software products.

What you will do
Developer Support and Advocacy (70%)
• Act as the primary contact for rApp developers with technical queries or challenges.
• Provide timely assistance and support, handling 60% of the queries and issues reported by developers.
• Triage unresolved issues and escalate them to the appropriate engineering units according to agreed SLAs.
• Advocate for the adoption of EIC capabilities among rApp developers.
• Represent the needs and perspectives of rApp developers within the organization.
• Proactively share knowledge and best practices with relevant stakeholders.
SDK Review (15%)
• Review SDKs developed by EIC development groups and provide feedback.
• Ensure SDKs are functional, user-friendly, and effective.
• Collaborate with SDK development teams to implement improvements based on feedback.
• Document best practices for using SDKs.
Feedback and Continuous Improvement (10%)
• Gather feedback from developers, users, and stakeholders through surveys, interviews, and other methods.
• Analyze feedback data to identify areas for improvement and potential innovations.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement changes based on feedback.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the rApp ecosystem based on developer feedback and industry trends.
Community Engagement (5%)
• Manage community interactions and facilitate developer communication.
• Participate in events such as technical clinics and development conferences.
• Develop micro-learning assets and other educational resources for developers.
• Work closely with the Community Engagement Team to ensure the developer community's voice is heard and acted upon.
You will Bring
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong background in software development.
• Proficient understanding of SMO, ORAN, and Cloud RAN.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Active learning abilities to stay ahead of industry trends.
• An approachable and cooperative demeanor to foster community trust.
• Experience in community engagement and organizing events.
• Ability to acquire seniority and expertise through direct interaction with rApp developers.
