Due to an internal promotion, we have a fantastic new vacancy for Reception Supervisor in the excellent Samuel Hotel.
The 4 star hotel opened its doors in April 2022.
The hotel boasts 204 modern bedrooms,a fabulouschic bar & brasserie-style restaurant, 4 state-of-artmeeting roomsand a 35 seater red bean roastery coffee shop.Great location with the Luas red line stopping directly outside.
Objective of the Role Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Front Office Supervisor will assist inensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office Department ensuring guests requests are met at all times and revenue is maximised.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all guests receive a genuine warm, friendly and courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.
Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
Take and confirm reservations to our guests, take responsibility for the security of the key, register the guests and take paymentand update all guest information in the computer.
Assist in achieving goals in relation to mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations and hotel standards.
Assist in efficiently and effectively controlling front office departmental operations.
Work with the management team to ensure strong morale amongst the team at all times.
The ideal candidate would have/be: Available to work from Monday to Sunday.
Available to start from 7am (early shift) and/or to finish at 11pm (late shift).
6 - 12 months experience in a similar role.
Excellent customer care skillsand communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
