About the role An opportunity has arisen within the Operational Oversight area in Client Services.
In the role, the successful candidate will:
Prepare all Financial Instrument Reconciliations (Stock).Prepare all Financial Instrument Calculations (Stock).Ensure that these are completed within the required regulatory timeframes.Report and escalate all issues to the appropriate team that arise from the reconciliations and calculations.Ensure appropriate operational processes and internal controls are in place and adhered to on an ongoing basis.Ensure that all Client Services operational reconciliations are completed and received per agreed schedules/timelines.Report all open/aged items on these reconciliations to management.Monitor all Figaro settlement-related reconciliations as defined by management.Ensure timely processing and follow-up of queries by all settlement-related teams.Report to management and advise on any performance issues.Act as the point of contact with all internal/external auditors and regulators for client services.Produce comprehensive Management Information for Client Services.Assist in the development and monitoring of Management Information and Control Reporting mechanisms.Undertake ad-hoc reconciliations when the need arises.Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures associated with the role.About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in the financial services sector.Sound reconciliation and control background.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Confidence in dealing with peers and other teams.Problem-solving skills.Accuracy and attention to detail.Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines.Strong processing skills and an eye for detail.A proven record as a strong team player.A record of providing excellent customer service with a strong focus on risk culture and framework.Good keyboard/PC skills.Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.Highly motivated and progressive with a constant desire to improve efficiency.What we offer We offer a range of benefits and experiences to support your professional and personal growth, whatever your career stage.
