Join Matrix Recruitment as a Recruitment Compliance Administrator, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and align with legal and internal standards.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Waterford.
There are hybrid working options available after a successful induction and training period.
What You'll Do: Support recruitment, finance, IT, and operations teams with compliance and administrative tasks.Coordinate and manage compliance processes, including gathering client requirements, candidate documentation (e.g., Garda Vetting, Background Checks, GDPR administration), and ensuring accurate communication and adherence to legal and internal standards across teams and candidates.Foster a culture of compliance and data protection by creating internal controls, conducting audits, addressing risks, educating employees, and collaborating with management to ensure adherence to GDPR and company policies.Provide technical support to employees, manage IT assets, liaise with the IT provider, maintain IT security and compliance, and stay updated on emerging technologies to ensure smooth and secure IT operations.Coordinate and promote health and safety compliance by implementing policies, conducting inspections, maintaining records, and fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability across the organisation.Develop, implement, and evaluate wellness programs and initiatives, coordinating events and activities to align with organisational goals and continuously improving them based on feedback and data analysis.What We're Looking For: Third level qualification in a related discipline is desirable.2-3 years' experience in employment related regulations, policies, and practices.Experience and familiarity with GDPR requirements; a GDPR qualification is desirable.Experience in driving compliance with legislation & company policy.Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong time management and prioritisation skills and strong attention to detail.Experience with CRM systems (Bullhorn or recruitment software would be a distinct advantage).Fluency in English as well as excellent oral/written skills and have demonstrated this in a professional environment.Experience in payroll, compliance and/or contract management would be very desirable.Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and IT systems.Team player, willing to go out of your way to help a teammate.Now enough about what you will do for us – what can we do for you in return?
