REGIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER- FMCG ( CONNACHT)My Client has some of the best brands in the FMCG marketplace and due to a re-structure and a change to business operations; have created a new role for a Regional Business Manager to join the Team for the Connacht region. This will be a remote role and you must be based in the Connacht / North Leinster region.

NB- For this position you must have 5-6 years domestic FMCG experience at a Senior level in either a Field Sales or National Accounts position- please do not apply if you do not have this experience.
JOB PURPOSE
The key objective is to develop the portfolio across the On Trade, Out of Home and Off Trade channels through head office key account relationships and through our field force in trade, ensuring the portfolio is available and visible in all relevant channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Take full ownership of the territory performance across On Trade, Off Trade and OOH. Key metrics including volume, revenue, availability, visibility, and executional standards.
In this multi-channel role, you will directly manage the On Trade and OOH field force and will indirectly support the Off Trade channel.
Maintain and enhance a team of high achievers by developing the key sales competencies within the team including selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Work closely with key stakeholders across the Business to align on strategy, commercials, and events.
Specific On Trade and Out of Home responsibilities: 70% time allocation.
Set and implement quarterly KPI's.
Maintain the accurate completion of daily outlet audits with the team.
Develop and manage strong business relationships with key groups and customers.
Analysis of investment and promotions to refine future spending.
Specific Off Trade and Out of Home responsibilities: 30% time allocation.
Strategic input and support on key Off Trade metrics:
Distribution in line with revenue growth management.
Execution
Market share performance.
Process & implementation.
Support and build head office relationships with key stakeholders: Off Trade key account groups and wholesalers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
4+ years sales management experience.
Understanding of FMCG industry and the Irish retail and bar landscape in Connacht.
Commercially astute with relevant experience.
A resilient self-starter with a result driven, entrepreneurial streak.
Strong communicator with a proven ability at stakeholder management.
High level of IT proficiency: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
Candidates must be eligible to drive in the Island of Ireland and have a full clean drivers' licence.
