Regional Commercial Leader - EMEAJob Summary Drive & deliver sustainable, profitable sales growth for the pharmaceutical/nutraceutical segment in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Responsible for the long-term commercial strategy of the region. Accountable for general management of external and internal relationships, including sales team, leadership, people development and stewardship of the day-to-day commercial functions for the region.

Your Responsibilities/Description: Responsible for managing the regional sales team, developing, and executing commercial strategy to drive growth, and delivering the annual financial plan.Maintain top-to-top relationships with key accounts to defend existing business and identify growth opportunities.Oversee distribution network to facilitate growth with small- to mid-sized customers and regional accounts.Maximize time with the customer, collaborate and support customers on key events and initiatives.Ignite winning spirit in the cross-functional team to maximize business growth. Passion for results and passion for the customer.Laser focus on securing and developing best in class sales team through talent selection, recruitment, onboarding, coaching and performance management / recognition.Identify, develop, and champion talent in the team who can take broader leadership roles in the future.Gather and share intelligence on industry, market, competitors, consumer, technology from regular interactions with customer/industry network.Lead commercial / cross-functional team in identifying prospective opportunities, expanding business access, and building business cases.Drive commercial team to maintain good level of projects in the pipeline at all times and provide regular progress updates to global management and support account managers with the projects, as necessary.Consolidate account knowledge, products, market intelligence, innovations and expertise and ensure they are shared & leveraged across regions.Lead with Commercial agility to effectively manage multiple business opportunities across different regions and categories.Understand, challenge, and hold team accountable for ensuring accuracy of business potentials.Drive growth and customer relevancy through innovation.Ensure controllable and sales expenses are within agreed P&L parameters.Understand impact of economic scenarios, raw material cost fluctuations on the business and, as needed, support price increase strategies.Your Experience: Between 10-15+ years of industry related experience with at least 3 years serving in a senior sales / commercial / category manager role with a strong track record and 3 years of people management experience.Skills: Organizational leader with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all levels.Strategic vision, innovative thinking, business acumen, and ability to drive and rally cross-functional team.Strong proficiency in financial concepts/processes (pricing/margin/forecasting/cash flow).Team player, strategic thinking, positive mindset, orchestrator.Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills.Effective business English with a global mindset able to work with different cultures.Your Training / Certifications: Essential: Bachelor's degree.Preferred: Concentration in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or Biology Master's degree.At IFF, we believe that your uniqueness unleashes our potential.
