As a CO+I Regional Director - IT Infrastructure EMEA, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's dedicated online services.Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services.
As a CO+I Regional Director - IT Infrastructure EMEA, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.#COICareersQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Extensive experience in program management and leadership within a datacenter setting or similar field.Proficient in managing IT infrastructure deployment or construction-related projects.Skilled in leading a team of project and program managers.Preferred Qualifications:  Exceptional ability to collaborate, openly communicate, present, and negotiate effectively across groups of various levels and disciplines, such as government entities, senior company leaders, engineers, suppliers, partners, technicians, customers, etc.
Experience in leading, directly managing, and influencing a diverse organization of full-time employees, across multiple disciplines and platforms Demonstrated experience delivering results with ambiguous and changing business requirements, with strong ability to work independently in a dynamic and high-pressure environment Background in data center design, construction, and/or infrastructure operations and experience in planning and executing data center transformational programs Experience with design of next generation data center networks  A solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting Awareness of IT Service Operations fundamentals and principles.
(ITIL, MOF, OLA/SLA, CSI, etc.)
Project or program management experience and certification(s) (e.g.
Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMI, etc.)

If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or the recruiting process, please send a request via the Accommodation request form.Benefits/perks listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.ResponsibilitiesAs a successful Regional Director - IT Infrastructure EMEA, your performance objectives will consist of the following:Core Responsibilities: Empower a culture of safety, security and compliance in all aspects of datacenter operations  Lead the DC Operations IT Infrastructure program for EMEASupport regional programs with design and implementation of telecoms infrastructure projects across both build and leased facilities.Support DC Operations across EMEA with design and project planning relating to IT Infrastructure projects and retrofits of networking, server and AI projects.Enhance existing end to end process into a seamless onboarding experience for newly launched facilitiesEvaluate, strategically optimize, and a drive a program to gain efficiencies in DC Operations Integration Employ clear lines of communication and feedback considering lessons learned between DC Operations and peer teams related to data center design, construction and fitout.
Represent Data Center operations needs and interests while new facilities are advancing through various early stages and into  turnover ensuring the highest standards in quality, reliability, availability and safety are met.
Collaborate with Datacenter Managers and Regional Datacenter Directors to ensure operating procedures are documented accurately and that appropriate training and hand-offs are conducted during the onboarding process of new facilities with precision timing Manage escalations and issues that may arise by partnering with peer organizations to ensure appropriate resolutions are sought and implemented minimizing impact to service delivery and commissioning timelines  Foster an understanding of the various stakeholders, their interests, and needs ensuring the teams can sustain and embrace the changes through clear communications, engagement, and appropriate governance throughout onboarding and integration of newly owned and leased facilities into Data Center Operations #LI-DNI
