Regional DPD Lead
The Regional DPD Lead is a senior management role responsible for the implementation and management of Digital Project Delivery (DPD) across their business unit and projects from pre-contract through delivery and handover.
This role requires comprehensive leadership and team player skills, both technical and strategic skillsets, and will be part of the wider DPD leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of DPD.
Key Responsibilities: Tender stage Support the Precon team with the review of tender documents (including Works Information, EIR, AIR, OIR, BEP, etc.)
to identify Client's BIM and Digital requirements.Attend Tender kick-off meeting to define DPD scenarios and proposed DPD strategy (IM, BIM, 4D, Geo).Ensure Consultants and sub-contractors are fully aware of their DPD responsibilities.Providing technical review of 3D models (e.g.
Federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics, etc.)
received at the tender stage.Provide technical support and an expert-level understanding on ISO 19650 and project Information management requirements.Review Consultants and Designer's DPD scope of services and fees.Support the bidding team with any BIM or digital inquiries to be included in the quality submission.Project delivery stageAssign the project BIM, Digital & IM requirements to BIM & IM Team.Track & Monitor the DPD kick-off meeting with internal and external stakeholders.Approve the Project DPD strategy including IMP, BEP, DRM, MIDP, and associated digital tools and platforms.Manage the monthly time allocations for the BIM, 4D, and IM Team and liaise with RCDs.Regularly monitor the DPD strategy progress and report any potential gaps.Executing Sisk DPD upskilling strategy across projects and central functions.Manage the trials and implementation of new technologies.Capture best practices and lessons learned to be shared with the wider business.Hire, Promote, and Lead the DPD Team (BIM, IM, 4D) in respective Business Unit.Business wideOversee the implementation of the agreed DPD strategy across a business unit.Spend an equal amount of time across all projects and travel abroad to projects when necessary.A flexible working model and online meetings should be promoted.Manage and coordinate BIM resources across projects.Work closely with Project Leads and Regional Directors to ensure DPD objectives are aligned with project/Client needs.Work closely with the operational team to utilise best practices and technologies to reduce project pain points.Regularly assess DPD maturity of projects and provide monthly reports to the business.Keep the business informed about best practices and Innovative technologies.Assist promotion and marketing of Sisk DPD capabilities across the industry. Qualification and experiences:7+ years' experience working on Digital Construction Projects in a similar role (Main Contractor preferably).Hon+ degree qualified in construction, architecture, or related discipline.Expert knowledge of 3D BIM software and procedures.Expert Level knowledge of ISO 19650 and associated standards.Extensive experience in the use of Digital Field tools and technologies.Strong understanding of Information management tools (e.g.
Dalux, VFP, ACC).Having a strong knowledge of 4D, 5D, 6D and 7D is required.
