The Regional IT Support Engineer is a critical role within the Service Delivery team to resolve tickets in our Ireland region. The primary location is in Athy, where an onsite presence is expected 3 days a week. The role also supports our Cahir and Innishannon sites, and travel to these locations is variable according to demand.
What you'll do:Resolve tickets escalated by the Global Service Desk, to include incidents, requests, or assistance.Troubleshoot and provide support for regional IT infrastructure and applications.Identify problems to improve efficiencies and reduce incident creation in the region.Lead or contribute to IT projects.Provide remote support to UK and USA.What you'll bring:Experience in IT Engineering, Helpdesk, IT Support, or any other relevant experience.Experience using a ticketing system or IT support tools (TOPDesk knowledge is advantageous).Self-starter and problem solver with the ability to work independently while part of a global team.ITIL knowledge is advantageous.
