Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Registered Nurse for a new, state-of-the-art purpose-built care home in Co. Meath.
This facility is designed to provide convenience, comfort, and exceptional care to elderly residents.
The role involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care to elderly residents by administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and providing assistance with daily activities.
They develop and implement personalized care plans, closely observe and report any changes in residents' health, and ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
Additionally, Staff Nurses offer emotional support, foster social engagement, and collaborate with healthcare teams to meet both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
They also supervise junior staff and respond effectively to medical emergencies, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Requirements Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) or eligible to be so registered.
Minimum two years of post - graduate experience, with at least 1 years of experience working with Elderly care.
Working experience of HIQA Standards and Health Act Regulations 2013.
Excellent Clinical, Leadership and Organisational skills.
Fluent in the English language (verbal and written) and be eligible to work in Ireland.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Demonstrate clinical experience in working with a team of diverse clinicians and strong knowledge of the concepts and operation of clinical governance.
Ability to lead, teach, manage, participate, and play a key role in the practice education of student nurses and healthcare staff and promote and engage in the teaching/training/support of others as appropriate.
Have a good knowledge and experience of health, safety, and other statutory regulations affecting a healthcare organization.
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.
