Medical Scientist, Staff Grade (Haematology/Blood Transfusion) Cpl Healthcare in Partnership with the HSE is currently seeking a Medical Scientist, Staff Grade (Haematology/Blood Transfusion) to join the team at National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh, Finglas. This team is looking to recruit a CORU registered Medical Scientist with BT/Haematology experience (1-2 yrs.). Immediate start for an initial 3 months contract with the possibility to extend.35 hrs p/w M-F (8am-8pm).The on-call service at NOHC is multidisciplinary (Bio/Haem & BT).A start date will be indicated at the job offer stage. Purpose of the Post: In co-operation with the Chief Medical Scientist, Consultant Head of Department, and other laboratory staff, perform routine Haematology, Coagulation, or Blood Transfusion testing on patient specimens to the highest professional standards.To participate as a Medical Scientist, Staff Grade in providing a high quality and efficient laboratory service to Consultants, Doctors, and their patients within the hospital and the community.Eligibility Criteria: Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc:(a) Candidates for appointment must:Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Medical Scientists Register maintained by the Medical Scientists Registration Board at CORU.Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Medical Scientists Register maintained by the Medical Scientists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.Please email your interest & CV to Norah at ******.
