Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Addiction Services

On behalf of our client, an established national addiction service, Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications from Registered Psychiatric Nurses with experience in this sector.

Our client provides direct services to people who use drugs in the Dublin and Mid-West Regions of Ireland and also plays an active role in drug policy, advocating for policy choices which will improve the lives of people who use their services.

The successful candidate will report to the CNM2 on duty and will contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of low threshold psychiatric health services to people who are actively involved with, or affected by, problem substance use.

This is a permanent role working Monday-Friday with duties extending to health assessments, mental health care plans, sexual health clinic, overdose management, and psychiatric nursing interventions.

To be considered for the role, the following criteria apply: Registered as a Psychiatric nurse with the NMBI Evidence of Continuing Professional Development Minimum of one year's post-registration experience is essential Experience in drug and alcohol, mental health, or emergency nursing is essential and preferably for 2 years+ Previous practice experience desirable Evidence of an understanding of the health issues related to drug and alcohol use Strong communicator Permission to work in Ireland For further details, please contact Caitriona at ******
