The Role:The Lead BAU reporting works closely with the Reg Managed Service team, clients, and other stakeholders within the business, with a strong focus on delivery of superb customer experience, enhancing growth, optimization & standardization. Contributes to collaboration across the team, spread across multiple geographic regions & time zones moving towards optimal Client Service model as defined by Client Delivery strategy.
The Lead BAU reporting is a main driver of regulatory reporting workflows during filing seasons and monitoring that service is delivered according to an agreed service model.
Skills and Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Information Technology or equivalent experience.5+ years in fund accounting, reporting, compliance, regulatory services, or mid- or back-office role.Experience working in Supervisory roles (managing/mentoring/coaching others).Strong understanding of fund accounting & regulations/regulatory reporting, financial products.Good understanding of data & affinity with technology.Experience and ability to lead other team members.Team player with a strong focus on collaboration.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional attention to detail & time management skills.Experience with processes management/workflow/project management/trading would be beneficial.Responsibilities:Guides and monitors BAU Analysts.Quality checks & reviews of regulatory filings.Monitors workflows & processes."Gatekeeper" for client-related queries during filing season.Agent of change – reducing risks, optimizing & scaling up existing service offerings.Service level agreements – adherence & monitoring.Operational reviews with Clients (post-mortems).Constant upskilling & training of BAU analysts.Tasks:Can process clients' financial data using CSS platforms.Analyzes gaps & discrepancies to ensure quality.Actively engages with other team members to investigate differences & discrepancies.Guides other analysts working on data processing & regulatory filings preparation.Responsible for BAU processes during a filing season.Engages with other stakeholders as needed.Participates in certain non-BAU projects as needed.Ad-hoc and other tasks assigned by the manager.
