Individualised Support Staff Relief (Weekend hours & Holiday/Leave Cover) Cope Foundation is recruiting an individual to support a lady living in her own home through an individualised support service – Relief Care Assistant (Disability Services) pay scale.
The successful applicant will be supporting this lady within her own home, as part of a team and in partnership with her and her natural support network.
The following are essential requirements for the position: Relevant experience in individualised ways of working, through a rights-based lens Experience of supporting a person with an intellectual disability and sensory impairment. Ability to discover the individual's abilities and interests in order to support her develop and sustain positive social valued roles within her community. Ability to offer supports in a creative, innovative, flexible and person-centred way. Support the creation of new opportunities with this lady through an ongoing discovery process. To have excellent interpersonal, listening, planning and organisational skills. The ability to partner and liaise effectively with others. A willingness to be flexible with working hours, based on the lady's support requirements. The support requirements will include all activities of daily and domestic support within her home. Desirable: A full, clean, current driving licence. A relevant qualification (minimum QQI level 5 major award) is desirable.
