IT Support Engineer Contract | €200-€260/day | Galway | Onsite A client of mine is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team in Galway.
This role will focus on providing Level 2 support, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining IT infrastructure in an onsite capacity.
Responsibilities: Deliver Level 2 support for Windows-based environments, including Active Directory and Office 365.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Assist with IT infrastructure maintenance, including server updates and network monitoring.
Support the configuration and deployment of Microsoft 365 and Azure-based services.
Document and resolve support tickets efficiently, maintaining detailed records.
Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on IT systems and tools.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
Requirements: 6+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong background in Windows environments.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and PowerShell scripting is an advantage.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an onsite role.
