The successful candidate will join a high-performance team that is on a transformation journey that includes a system upgrade. This exciting upgrade will result in the team using leading edge technology in our future state.
We are interested in meeting with candidates who have strong forecasting and analytical experience (particularly in a retail or wholesale environment), are motivated by working and delivering in a fast paced and innovative team and who naturally excel in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities of the Role:Analyse the results from our advanced Artificial Intelligence forecasting technology, reviewing forecast errors and monitoring accuracy at multiple levels.Identify forecast areas requiring remedial action and liaise with the System Vendor Managed Services Team (MST) where appropriate to address these.Manage, develop, motivate, and lead a high performing / professional team.Work with the Replenishment team to address any forecasting issues and needs. Support their understanding of how forecasts are created and maintained.Liaise between the Replenishment Team and MST to coordinate required forecast adjustments for any extraordinary events.Review the levels of forecast alerts and exceptions being generated by the AI tool. Embed a root cause analysis approach to managing forecasting anomalies within the team.Ensure forecasts are of a suitable quality to enable promotional management and supplier collaboration.Manage and maintain the integrity of our forecasting system through ongoing reviews of set up and parameters.Support the delivery of world class outbound Service Level and availability for our Retail Partners.Collaborate with the wider replenishment team, our Supply Chain Network and other business units to drive continuous improvement.Education, Skills & Experience:Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Forecasting.Proven problem-solving ability and willingness to tackle complex problems.Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations.Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience and succinctly summarizing complex concepts.A team player with strong interpersonal skills, is organized & independent and has a proven ability to manage and deliver multiple asks.Individual must be detail oriented, self-directed and have strong independent problem-solving skills.Proven experience managing, developing, motivating, and leading a high performing / professional team.Musgrave operates a Work Smart hybrid working model where you can alternate your time between connecting and collaborating in the business and working remotely.
